The high-performance robot palletizer PRINCIPAL-R, an articulated arm robot palletizing system, is always offered as a customized solution. Individual components are sourced from well-known industrial robot manufacturers and installed using STATEC BINDER expertise, depending on product requirements.
Depending on the required performance, different robot models are used. The gripper is also adapted to the respective application. A special feature of the PRINCIPAL-R is that it has been optimized for sling bags.
As standard, jointed-arm robots with four axes and a rotation of up to 330°-440° in the R-axis are used. This robot type is particularly suitable for palletizing and depalletizing applications due to its fast and repeatable movement. The operation and selection of the pallet patterns is carried out simply via the touchscreen of the modern HMI. The set-up variants range from a single to a double to a multiple line arrangement.

EFFICIENT PALLETIZING PROCESS THANKS TO THE INTELLIGENT ROBOT PALLETIZER
The powerful PRINCIPAL-R palletizing robot ensures time- and cost-efficient palletizing. Like all STATEC BINDER systems, the robot palletizer can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Thanks to its programmable logic controller, the machine allows for the careful handling of a wide variety of packaging units – from sling bags to cartons. The flexible design also allows the robot palletizer to be adapted to different hall sizes and production conditions.
Despite its impressive speed, the PRINCIPAL-R works extremely reliably and precisely. The desired layer pattern is defined in just a few steps via the intuitive HMI (human-machine interface). The neatly palletized loading units can then be safely loaded and transported.
Optimized throughput times, absolute accuracy, consistent quality, and improved performance planning thus lead to lower production costs and increased inventory turnover.

PRECISION AND SAFETY THANKS TO AUTOMATED PALLETIZING
Unlike manual palletizing, the use of fully automated palletizing robots is not only more efficient, but also less prone to errors. The freed-up capacity allows workers to be deployed where human expertise is needed - for example, for complex or strategically relevant tasks. The saftey mechanisms integrated into the PRINCIPAL-R, such as barriers and emergengy stops switches, increase employee protection and facilitate compliance with labor regulations.
