Installation of a photovoltaic system with 1000m² solar panels
As a specialist for packaging and palletizing solutions, STATEC BINDER focuses specifically on meeting customer requirements and thus remaining state-of-the-art in the entire industry. To this end, in addition to successful projects such as the implementation of a completely new machine control panel or the further development of highly efficient packaging and palletizing machines, a major step towards sustainability was also taken in 2023.

Due to the drastic change of the economic situation and the resulting increase in energy costs, the issue of sustainability is becoming increasingly important for all companies. STATEC BINDER has decided to renovate the facade of the company building in Gleisdorf in order to be able to continue working efficiently and sustainably. The facade has not only been given a more modern design, but also makes a significant contribution to energy efficiency thanks to the additional thermal insulation. Larger windows with additional thermal insulation glazing were also installed, which allow considerably more daylight into the assembly hall. Furthermore, a roof drainage system and an additional integrated finishing strip were also built in.

The installation of the photovoltaic system with 1000 m² of solar panels as part of the renovation proved to be particularly energy-efficient. With the now existing panels, STATEC BINDER can generate up to 200 kWp of electricity and therefore make a positive contribution to energy consumption.
The refurbished factory hall has been completely renovated in the style of the previous hall extension and office building - in a light anthracite shade. The new illuminated STATEC BINDER lettering clearly shows how much the company has already expanded.
